How the commission is calculated
- Sale: a percentage of the final sale price agreed between buyer and seller.
- Transferring equipment still under instalments: the commission is on the amount actually paid for the transfer only. A free transfer means no commission.
- Exchange: a straight swap is free. If one side pays a difference, the commission is on that difference only.
- Wanted ads: if the person who posted a wanted ad finds the equipment through the site and the seller had not advertised it here, the commission is on the person who posted the wanted ad. If the equipment was already advertised on the site, the commission is on the seller.
